Pok-o-moonshine

I've heard a lot of rumors about some bouldering at Pok-o. It's on the map at the bottom as well. Any information? From pictures the stuff looks promising. If anyone knows of the established stuff there, how good it is, etc. fill me in!

There is a giant boulder in the former campground that is quite well-known.

It is a waste of time. Blank rock minus a few boulders. Plus a lot of the rock is on private land

I had heard of the campground one, and that most was on private land, but are you sure its pretty much all blank rock?

positive. A PSU student put some problems up but unless you are climbing v 10 or harder you are wasting your time.

the PSU kid's name is Gary Goldfinger...from the looks of it, the place is definitely not a waste of time. "Blank" rock just needs different sets of eyes

trust me waste of time. We spent two days there last fall with Gary his problems are ok at best, plus many you do not pull hard enough for the problems. Also, you have to trespass for a lot of the boulders-have to it and explore- it seems this site is full of punters who have no idea what good problems look like

The climbing is mediocer at best. I totally agree. Ive climbed with G.G in the past and his routes are more for show then anything else. truly not as good as he thinks he is.
