Second Pond Boulders

Went out today to check out the Roadside Boulders near Second Pond off route 3 near Saranac Lake. The problems on the Rosetta Stone seemed decent, but the most inspiring climbing came from the Monster boulder. Extremely powerful problems on the steep overhang, and nice clean lines on the vertical face made the boulder one to visit for sure. Info about the rocks can be found on Adirondack Rock's website, in Goodies > New boulder problems > Second Pond Roadside Boulders.

Anything get done on the steep wall? We took a look at it briefly back in May after a long weekend in Second Pond but never tried any of the projects...they did look good though!

We were working the V8 project Monster in the Closet, but I can't confirm any ascents on it. It was a fantastic problem though.
